Description
Calcium chloride is a salt composed of calcium and chlorine elements, appearing as solid blocks, flakes, granules, spheres, or powder. It is odorless, slightly bitter, and highly soluble in water. Its aqueous solution is slightly alkaline and releases significant heat during dissolution. The compound exhibits strong hygroscopic properties and readily absorbs moisture from the air.
Available in both industrial and food grades, calcium chloride comes in various forms including anhydrous, dihydrate, and liquid solutions. Proper storage requires sealed containers in dry, ventilated environments to prevent moisture absorption and maintain product integrity.
Note: Anhydrous calcium chloride content is 94%, dihydrate content is 74%, and liquid calcium content ranges 27-40%. We also offer 68-70% calcium chloride at competitive prices.
