Calcium chloride dihydrate 74% white powder desiccant and snow melting agent
Calcium chloride, a salt consisting of chlorine and calcium, is generally colorless cubic crystal, white or gray white, granular, honeycomb, massive, spherical, irregular granular, powder. It is slightly toxic, odorless and slightly bitter. It is a typical ionic halide and is a white solid at room temperature. It has strong hygroscopicity and is easy to deliquescence when exposed to the air. It is easy to dissolve in water and release a lot of heat. Its aqueous solution is slightly alkaline. Soluble in alcohol and acetic acid.
