1.Description:
Sodium carbonate is an inorganic compound with molecular formula of Na2CO3 and molecular weight of 105.99. It is also called soda ash, but it belongs to salt rather than alkali. It is also called soda or soda ash in international trade.
Soda is mainly used in glass industry, can also be used in chemical metallurgy, washing and pharmaceutical industries and paper making.
Soda ash light can be used as a filler for rubber.
Soda ash light soluble in water, water solution alkaline, and release heat, easy deliquescence, reaction with acid to form salt.
2.Applications:
1. In the field of building materials, the glass industry is the largest soda consumption sector, with 0.2 tons of soda per ton of glass.
2. Chemical industry, used to make water glass, baking soda, borax, etc.
