1. Product Description
Heptahydrate ferrous sulfate, also known as ferrous sulfate, heptahydrate ferrous sulfate, molecular formula FeSO4 · 7H2O
Blue-green crystals or granules, odorless and tasteless. It is soluble in water and loses 3 molecules of crystal water when the temperature reaches 56.6 °C; it becomes a monohydrate at 65-90 °C; it becomes anhydrous white powder at 300 °C; it begins to decompose when the temperature reaches 480 °C.
It is used to make iron salt, iron oxide pigment, mordant, water purifier, preservative, disinfectant, etc.
