Application

                            Urea is a high-concentration nitrogen fertilizer, a neutral and quick-acting fertilizer, and can also be used to produce various compound fertilizers. It leaves no harmful substances in the soil and has no adverse effects when applied for a long time. Animal husbandry can be used as feed for ruminants. However, if the temperature is too high during granulation, a small amount of biuret, also known as diuret, will be produced, which has an inhibitory effect on crops. China stipulates that the content of urea biuret used in fertilizers should be less than 0.5%. When the content of biuret exceeds 1%, it cannot be used as seed fertilizer, seedling fertilizer or foliar fertilizer. The content of urea in other application periods should not be too high or too concentrated either.

                            Urea is an organic nitrogen fertilizer. After being hydrolyzed into ammonium carbonate or ammonium bicarbonate by urease in the soil, it can be absorbed and utilized by crops. Therefore, urea should be applied 4 to 8 days before the nutrient demand period of crops.
