96.5%Min Food Grade Sodium Metabisulfite For Bleach, Preservative, Loosening Agent
1. Description:
Sodium metabisulfite is white or yellow crystalline powder or small crystals, with a strong smell of SO2, specific gravity 1.4, soluble in water, aqueous solution is acidic, and strong acid contact release SO2 and generate the corresponding salts, a long time in the air, oxidation into Na2S2O6, so the product can not survive. Above 150 degrees Celsius, SO2 is broken down.
2. Applications:
(1) It is used in the production of sodium hydrosulfite, sulfamethazine, analgin, caprolactam, chloroform, phenylpropanesulfone and benzaldehyde purification.
(2) The photographic industry is used as an ingredient for fixers. The perfume industry is used to produce vanillin.
(3)It can be used as preservative in brewing industry, rubber coagulant and dechlorination agent after cotton bleaching. Organic intermediates, dyestuffs, tanning are used as reducing agents in electroplating, wastewater treatment in oil fields and mineral processing agents in mines.
(4) Industry: used in printing and dyeing, organic synthesis, printing, tanning, pharmaceutical and other departments; in food processing as preservative, bleaching agent, loosening agent.
(5) It can be used as chemical reagent (printing and dyeing, photography, etc.), bleaching agent, mordant, reducing agent, rubber coagulant, organic synthetic medicine and perfume.
(6) For dyestuff and pharmaceutical industry: it can be used as chromatographic reagent, preservative and reducing agent.
