The commonly used water glass in architecture is an aqueous solution of sodium silicate.

1. Mainly used as binder, detergent, soap filler, soil stabilizer, textile industry dyeing aid, bleach and sizing agent, mineral flotation agent, etc

2. Mainly used as cleaning agents and synthetic detergents, as well as degreasers, fillers, and corrosion inhibitors

3. Used as an analytical reagent, fabric fireproof agent, and adhesive

4. Mainly used as raw materials for adhesives, silicone and white carbon black, fillers in the soap industry, and rubber waterproofing agents

5. Mainly used as an adhesive for printing paper, wood, welding rods, casting, refractory materials, filling materials in the soap industry, as well as soil stabilizer and rubber waterproofing agent. It is also used for paper bleaching, mineral flotation, and synthetic detergents. It is a component of inorganic coatings and also a raw material for silicon series products such as silica gel, molecular sieve, and precipitated silica.
